Terms of use
Effective 21 August 2026
Your calendar content remains yours. These terms explain the basic rules for accounts, service use, and availability.
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of MyYear and its cloud services. By creating an account or using MyYear, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. MyYear is operated by Mykhailo Churilov.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are not old enough to do so where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use of MyYear.
Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials and devices, and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly at mikki@kunso.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Your calendar content
You keep ownership of the calendar names, events, emoji, and other content you add to MyYear. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, security, and legal retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you add and for having any rights needed to use it.
Acceptable use
Do not use MyYear to break the law, harm another person, access another account without permission, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, bypass security or usage limits, scrape the service, or attempt to reverse engineer protected service components except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Service changes and availability
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of MyYear. We aim to keep the service reliable, but it may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. MyYear is a planning aid, not an emergency, medical, financial, or safety-critical service. Keep independent records of information you cannot afford to lose.
Third-party services and platform terms
MyYear relies on third-party services including Google Firebase and optional Google Sign-In. Their services may be governed by their own terms. If you download MyYear through Apple, Apple's standard End User License Agreement and applicable App Store terms also apply. These Terms govern the MyYear service and do not replace rights or obligations that cannot legally be changed.
Our software and brand
MyYear, its software, visual design, name, and related intellectual property belong to the operator or applicable licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of MyYear to you.
Account suspension and deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or respond to a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
Warranties and responsibility
MyYear is provided with reasonable care and skill, but no online service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, lost opportunities, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when MyYear, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a material change affects your rights. Continuing to use MyYear after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.
Questions and disputes
Contact us first at mikki@kunso.com so we can try to resolve a concern. Mandatory consumer protections and any rights to use local courts or dispute-resolution bodies remain unaffected.
